Shiver stories are tales intended to overtly entertain, yet leave you with shivers of awareness and deeper understanding. This title track was inspired by the story of La Llorona in the book Women Who Run With Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. Shattered by the threat of losing her children to an ex lover, a mother drowns her youngsters in the river. After realizing the tragic consequence of her actions she drowns herself: it is said you can still hear the sound of her fingers dragging through the riverbed, searching for the sound of her children.
